Good Night!
The rate of displacement is increasing in Pakistan while there is a lack of privacy and safe places reported across locations. There are protection risks for those who are living in temporary relief camps.
In affected areas, 30% of water systems are estimated to have been damaged. 63% of the flood-affected population reported access to sufficient and quality drinking water as a serious issue. Some 73% of affected households are estimated to have inadequate resources to buy food.
Among those who are displaced, at least 660,120 people have reported various illnesses, mostly diarrhea, skin infections, and acute respiratory diseases, at government-run medical camps in flood-affected areas since July 2022.
